One fun thing about the internet is the fun possibilities that exist on Craigslist.com. Please keep in mind that anything posted here does not mean I endorse the ad but simply pointing out the options so please proceed with caution and beware of scammers. My personal motto is that I only do cash transactions, in person and meet in a public place for the security of both parties involved (preferably where you know there are cameras or heavy traffic). And sorry but I will only post Syracuse China items IF you can prove to me it was made in the area (call it a soft spot if you wish but I prefer my stuff Syracuse made when possible).
With that in mind, let’s see what fun items are listed on the Syracuse Craigslist:
First I will start off with an ad I saw this morning from someone simply trying to find a home for a cat. I trust the individual who tweeted it so that is why I am leading with it. If you are looking for a cat named Josie who is 7 years old and coming from a loving family to add to your family, check this ad out.
Are you a Syracuse basketball fan who only has a few dollars in your pocket but you love collecting reminders of that season? Well, I found a couple items that are definitely cheap and unique. You can check out some Melo and G-Mac posters for $2 or what looks like a framed homemade sign for $12. If you want to add a once worn 2003 tee for $10 or some SU sports cards, we got that for you as well. Hey, if you want to look like a player during warm-ups, have $35 and wear a large size, you can also buy this.
Looking to drop $1800 on a SU themed poker table? Here you go. Just be sure you have some buddies who are willing to help you go to Brewerton to get it without damaging the owners home. Here is the picture:
Are you a beer fan looking for that neon beer sign to complete your mancave/home bar/business? Well for $100 a piece, you can get these Heineken, Budweiser and Labatt Blue signs. I am not sure what the going rate is on neon signs but I do like the Labatt Blue one myself (though sadly I am broke and do not live in the area anymore anyway).
If you enjoy classic art of the area, I found some great artwork listed as well. Check out this area print from 1841 and this view of Syracuse in 1852 being sold in the Liverpool area. Both are only $20 a piece and if you are someone who loves the history of the area, how could you pass on that?
How about a free hot tub in East Syracuse? Or a free upright piano in Marcellus? Those sound heavy but for free, might be worth a shot.
Looking for some tickets? I REFUSE to list agent tickets but if you want lower level Syracuse Football season tickets, want to see Jersey Boys at the Landmark Theater, a day pass to Darien Lake for $25, or want to see Kiss and Motley Crue at Darien Lake in September, they and others are listed. Again, simply be cautious of scams but if you are looking for some deals and these are the events you want, enjoy.

Must. Not. Comment.
